We recommend 512+Mb of RAM as some of the games can be quite intensive.

You also need the latest Flash plugin installed in your browser.

Most modern browsers come with the Flash plugin installed by default. However, you may need to update that plugin if it is older than version 9. A link should appear on the Teach Online page if this is necessary. Follow the link to update the plugin for your browser, then return to the Teach Online page.

If you can't see the Teach Online content, you probably have an old browser that needs updating.

Most browsers have an option to update to the latest version from a 'tools' or 'about' menu item.

Flash is a plugin that has been added to your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari are internet browsers) enabling more interactive content from the internet.

Each suscription is a SITE licence allowing all users in a particular institution to access the resource (using the same login details). You must not, of course, share these details with teachers from other institutions as this is not allowed under the terms of your subscription.

If, during your subscription, you decide that you want to add a language, you can contact us and we will arrange that for you. The cost of adding a language is the difference between the two licences plus an administrative fee of £5.

Teach Online is divided into Activities, Games and Utilities.

Activities are for introducing and reinforcing language through established teaching methods like repetition / show and tell / 3 stage questioning.

The games are intended as reinforcers of the introduced language. The games available in Teach Online are Three in a row, Four in a row, Across the honeycomb, Guess my number, Hang the man, Pick a number, Picture reveal, Pelmanism, Serpents and steps and Mix and match.
