Languages in Melvin

Melvin comes with on-screen keyboards for all 24 official European languages and Welsh. See how the keyboards are used in Introducing the language here.

Melvin comes complete with native speaker speech files for all pictures in 3 languages, French, Spanish and German. Additional speech files are available for English and Welsh. The speech files are available in all the teaching sections of Melvin including the games.

Melvin comes with a complete set of editable text files for 7 languages. The list below shows the languages that Melvin supports. Languages marked in green come with text files. The text files are available in all the teaching sections of Melvin including the games, and can be edited with the Labelmaker utility that comes with Melvin. For all other languages, texts can be created using the Labelmaker.
