Introducing the language settings
- Select number of pictures to show. You can choose to show all 20 pictures from each topic or to show only the first 10 initially and the second 10 at a later stage. You can check the order of pictures in a topic in View all topics.
- Select a layout option depending on whether you prefer to stand to the right or the left hand side of your Interactive Whiteboard.
- Click on the green arrow button at the bottom right of the screen.
Writing view
Each language item comes as a picture, text and speech (for 5 languages) - the pictures you have selected are navigable by means of thumbnails. Clicking on a thumbnail loads the large picture and the text and speech for that picture. Play the speech or reveal the text using the buttons in the big picture window. Use the writing tools for writing into the white text box below the picture. Click on the A button at bottom left to switch to the Typing view.
Typing view
Use the on-screen keyboard to introduce or reinforce the written form. Type in the box with your physical keyboard or the on-screen version that has all the required characters for the selected language. Format text selections using the controls on the right. Text can also be imported from your computer's clipboard. Click thumbnails or arrows to navigate between pictures as before.
