Custom label
A set of short texts created by a user of Teach Online. These additional labels extend the default set of labels allowing the teaching of different tenses / grammar points / etc. Created using the Label maker utility.
Introducing the language
An Activity for introducing language at the beginning of a class.
Label
A set of short texts for the pictures within a topic. Teach Online has a complete set of labels for all supported languages. The labels have associated speech files in French, German, Spanish, English and Welsh. Labels can be viewed / hidden within most games and activities.
Label maker
A Utility for creating and editing additional custom labels to complement the standard labels supplied by Teach Online.
Language
Selected in the portal, the language determines what content is available when using Teach Online.
Current languages are French, German, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, English and Welsh.
Topic
All pictures in Teach Online are divided into topics. Each topic consists of 20 related pictures plus the associated language.
Utilities
Utilities are a set of modules where you can create and edit custom content.
View all topics
An Activity for viewing the pictures / language associated with a topic. View all topics can also be used for simple reveal / hide activities.
Whole class games
A series of games that can be played with the whole class using the Interactive Whiteboard. There are currently 10 games available.
